This series will follow the irreverent and ambitious young artist and entrepreneur, Colm Dillane, as he joins forces each week with a cast of compelling talents to dream up and accomplish creative Missions that, if successful, will have a positive and uplifting impact on the world.

With each episode KidSuper will round up a diverse group of talented and unique individuals to collaborate and complete a project.

Shorts, skits, and interviews will interrupt reality throughout to emphasize the chaos and the wonderment of the creative mind.

We will inspire & motivate
through collaboration & creation

However, this isn’t a happy-go-lucky show. This is a show about trial and error and the relentless grind to succeed. This show embodies the New York hustle: the diverse characters that keep the city alive and the hustle and drive that push it forward. Colm is more of a mischievous, young and vibrant Indiana Jones character — than a Mr. Rogers.
Colm Dillane started KidSuper in his highschool cafeteria. He then peddled the streets of New York City, and - soon thereafter - opened a Store during his junior year of College.

Through the progression of the brand, Colm has been able to travel, meet amazing people, and collaborate on projects that span far beyond t-shirts.

These collaborations have been the most fulfilling, successful, and inspiring.

These “Superheroes” have the opportunity to live and create at KidSuper Studios for free while recording music, working on projects, creating art, and collaborating with other “Superheroes” in the house. KidSuper Hotel aims to bring together some of the greatest minds of our generation, ranging from those who specialize in music and art to science and tech.

-Design and Art Studio-

The first floor is a creative house with a design and art studio. This floor hosts filmmakers, web, graphic, and fashion designers, who collaborate with our team and also any residents staying in the house. Together, we look for all who visit to create content for the clothing line, the website, and branded content for outside clients. -The Store-

The ground floor is a retail store that sells KidSuper merchandise, along with other carefully selected brands from all around the world. This space naturally acts as a gallery to display ongoing collaborations and art pieces produced by the KidSuper family. Events, photo shoots, performances and exhibits are on-going.

-The Backyard-

The backyard is ever-changing from a small soccer field for guests to play and socialize, to an outdoor space used for projects, gallery showings, and performances.
Floor -1

-The Music Studio-

The basement level of the building features a hidden music studio where musicians and performing artists can create, perform, collaborate, and record. KidSuper Studios uses this space to film interviews and day-to-day activities with artists. This content can then be used to help marketing efforts for various brands. The studio attracts some of the best up and coming musicians and we aim for it to become a historical place for this generation’s voice.

Episode Ideas

episode : 1

Compilation Album

mission:

Make a compilation album with an array of different musicians from past collaborators to classical musicians to homeless subway performers

Background:

The KidSuper Recording Studio has hosted an eclectic group of musicians. Bringing them all together for one album would only be possible in the KidSuper world. Colm met a street busker on the subway and brought him to the store. They became friends and together they built what became the platinum selling KidSuper recording studio.

why:

Music has been the backbone to the KidSuper world. We have the opportunity to put musicians and artist who would not necessarily collaborate together. This is the KidSuper spirit!

plan:

- Album will be created in the KidSuper Recording studio - Each song will have an unlikely collaboration that could be only brought together with the KidSuper spirit. - Big ending performance, foreshadowing the block party. - Release the album on all streaming platforms and see how well it does. Money will go to the music and arts programs in NYC. -This will be the sound track to the upcoming episodes.
episode : 2

Art Show

mission:

Put together an art show in a gallery; including paintings, sculpture, and video.

Background:

Colm just did his first solo art show. He convinced a gallery curator to allow him to show in her 7500 sqft gallery in Chelsea. He showed paintings, videos and sculptures.

why:

It is very difficult to break into the art world, Colm went from streetwear to billboards to videos to album arts to canvases. This entrance into the art world has inspired many people to just make things and not worry about whats it for or who will see.

plan:

- Follow KidSuper from the the genesis idea for the Gallery. - KidSuper looks in uncharted territory for inspiration - Some works of art are brainstormed, some without a plan in mind start to be created - Seemingly disparate pieces come together to form the final exhibit.
episode : 3

A Large Scale Mural

mission:

Put up a massive billboard in NYC

Background:

Colm has done billboards all around NYC that have been quite successful. He dressed up like a construction worker to pull them off. No one has taken them down because they are good.

why:

Bring back the art culture to NYC. Make an important message,

plan:

-Have a town hall event where we discuss issues from politics to race etc then from there determine a billboard statement and go put it as big as possible in NYC
episode : 4

I started in streetwear, doesn't mean I am limited to that. Wedding gowns coming soon! We ask: Is it art or commerce?

plan:

- Show two very different visions coming together to work through the project - Synergetic discussions and heated arguments; opposing inspirations and different viewpoints: - Create a song for the models to walk out to. - Have a music collaborator perform at the fashion show
episode : 5

Science Project

mission:

Collaborate with a group of young scientists who are bursting with ideas and attempt to turn one of their ideas into reality.

Background:

Colm is a math a major and was in robotics class and the math team. KidSuper has allowed him to do many things and has built a platform, he wants to use this to make real products.

why:

A young boy came into the store not to long ago and was a super fan of KidSuper and the collaboration with The Underachievers, whose lyrics are often about eastern philosophy. He knew everything about hinduism and chakras and was so inquisitive. I asked him how he was doing in school and he said he had just been held back. He said he failed math and most other subjects. I couldn't understand how a kid so interested in learning was failing. When I told him I had majored in math, he was shocked paused and yelled back, "well if you were my teacher I would have straight A's"

plan:

- Show the process from the ideas to producing it. - Include historical facts and clips of past inventors for a educational aspect; show how young minds are put to work.
episode : 6

Short Film

mission:

Collaborators make a short film together. First part will be the making of the film and the last part will be the film

Background:

Colm won a film festival for a claymation short film. Can he do it again?

why:

We rarely see what goes on behind a full film production. My first time on set I was blown away by how many people and moving parts there were. This show is about inspiring people to make there own creations, let's see this process and make it tangible.

plan:

- The group comes up with ideas. - Watch the entire journey from writing the script, drawing the sequences, hiring actors, shooting, editing, making the soundtrack. - Learn as we go for what we don’t know; make what we don’t have. - The final product will be presented to film festivals

Colm grew up playing with all of the African kids on his soccer team, one of which, Ousmane, has organized rebuilding of his child hood school. Bugus is Nigerian and always talks about throwing a concert out there. This is the perfect combination of everything.

why:

Soccer has changed my life, not everyone gets these opportunities. Let's change some lives.

plan:

- Include the community to help construct a soccer field in Africa. - Bring Russ and Bugus to perform and donate all proceeds to help finance the project and its future maintenance. - Discuss with the audience the importance to not only build it, but support the future of it as they will not be able to support its upkeep. - Try to get sponsors to sponsor team gear and equipment - KidSuper designs uniforms and logo with the kids - Create a collection with Big L and all profits go to the construction of a field and a school.

Make a full claymation episode

why:

This is the combination of all the mediums of the KidSuper series; music, art, acting, sculpture, etc.

-Brainstorm the script -Start to cast and audition friends and collaborators -Build the set -Find the perfect theater -Grand opening!

why:

What is a better way to wrap up the KidSuper series then a KidSuper festival that you can attend?

plan:

-This will be an all day festival/block party very similar to Tyler the Creator’s Flog Gnaw or Dave Chappelle’s block party. - Performance from musicians, artist, comedians that have made up the show - A celebration
